We added a few new features to the Stalwart Website as highlighted in the image above. They can be reached off the left sidebar menu, and give access to the new House Stalwart Guild Events Log, and House Stalwart Twitter feed.
House Stalwart Guild Events Log
This feature is a "mashup" using the existing RSS functionality of the WoWarmory website that allows you to view a characters current activity as a feed. This is great for viewing an individual character, but one of my favorite features in Everquest 2 is that they have a Guild Events log that shows everything of note that has happened to various members of the guild. Using the yahoo pipes technology I have attempted to recreated this same functionality by joining together the profiles for all characters in the guild over level 70. The feed will return the last 400 "events" for all these members.
House Stalwart Twitter
In an attempt to publicize some of the things that our member and the duranub raid have been doing. I created the House Stalwart Twitter Account. Currently all Stalwart officers have access to this account, and can use it to broadcast news updates about the guild and raid. We are currently using the #duranub hashtag to track all raid related news.
House Stalwart lives again. I got permission from Bel to go ahead and recreate the guild to make sure that we would keep the name. So throughout the night tonight plan on whispering one of the regular officers to get reinvited into HS. I know it will take a bit to get everyone but we will do it. HS is truly a group that will get through this.
And for those of you in DRC, we are going tonight. We have a plan and it will work.
Well the news has circulated by now... I got hacked. The hacker liquidated all of my characters, ate the guild bank, then transferred belghast off the server and in the process disbanded the guild. I am not really sure whether it is safe to reform the guild right now or if we should wait for the restore. However in the meantime please join the channel HouseStalwart. This will let us keep in contact. I am sorry everyone is having to go through this right now, god knows it is making life pretty unbearable for me personally.
I do however suggest that each and every one of you right now go out and get a blizzard authenticator, because careful browsing is not enough. I did everything right. I ran firefox, noscript, and adblock plus as well as an updated flashplayer and anti virus and still got hacked. I got one of the first authenticators available, but it stopped working awhile back and had to unbind it from my account and blizzard never sent the promised replacement. Without that final layer of security I was as vulnerable as if I were clicking on every email virus out there.
We will get through this. House Stalwart is more than a construct in a video game, we are a family that extends beyond these pixels. I've put in the necessary petitions to get things restored, now I am just praying that blizzard can set things right.
I am sorry I failed you guys, but I will do my best to bring things back into balance.

Also there will be no Sarth-avon tomorrow Wednesday 4/15/2009 as to save the OS25 Lock for duranub.
